Multi-Modality Control & Clinical Performance
UNISTIM® 5s combines over 10 electrotherapy modalities, both medium and low frequency currents, CC/CV output flexibility and 77 condition-wise protocols into a lightweight clinical system — giving physiotherapy professionals comprehensive electrotherapy capability from a single 2-channel unit.
10+ Electrotherapy Modalities
Supports Interferential (4-pole classic, vector 90°, vector 45°, 2-pole pre-modulated with carrier frequency up to 10000 Hz), Russian Current (2000–10000 Hz), TENS (symmetric, asymmetric, alternating, monophasic waveforms), Faradic/Surge Faradic, Muscle Stimulation (plain galvanic, interrupted galvanic — diagnostic and therapeutic), Diadynamic Currents (DF, MF, CP, LP, RS, MM), VMS, HV Pulse Current, Ultra Reiz, Micro Current and Iontophoresis — all from one device.
2-Channel Independent Output with CC/CV
Two independent electrotherapy channels with individual intensity control via encoder. Supports both Constant Current (CC) and Constant Voltage (CV) output modes, allowing physiotherapists to select the appropriate output regulation based on electrode type and application requirements.
77 Pre-Set Condition-Wise Protocols
Comes loaded with 77 pre-programmed treatment protocols organised by clinical condition. Each protocol auto-configures the relevant modality, frequency, sweep, pulse width and timing parameters. User-settable memory stores custom configurations with patient names for quick recall across repeat sessions.
5-Inch Colour TFT Display with Electrode Placement Guide
A 5-inch colour TFT display shows all active therapy parameters — current type, mode, frequency, intensity, sweep and timer — alongside illustration images for electrode placement. This on-screen placement guidance helps standardise setup across multiple clinical staff members and reduces electrode positioning errors.
Capsense Keys & Encoder Operation
Soft-touch capacitive-sensing (capsense) keys handle modality selection, program navigation and parameter adjustments, while a dedicated encoder provides precise, step-wise intensity control for each channel. The combination keeps the front panel clean and responsive for high-volume clinical workflows.
Compact Build & Safety Certified
Housed in a plastic moulded cabinet measuring 23 × 22.8 × 9.5 cm and weighing just 2.2 kg — one of the lightest full-modality electrotherapy units in the HMS range. Features an advanced patient safety system with automatic cable and electrode fault detection. Certified to IEC 60601-1 (Class 1, Type BF). Universal mains input (100–240V, 50/60 Hz). Also designed for veterinary care applications.
