Muscle Stimulator Machines
DIGISTIM EMS+T
DIGISTIM® EMS+T is a pocket-sized muscle stimulator that operates on both 9V battery and mains adaptor, giving physiotherapists a portable stimulation unit that works without a mains connection. It covers Interrupted Galvanic (30–150 mSec), Faradic (50 Hz / 0.7 mSec), Surge Faradic (1–6 sec surge duration) and TENS (2–125 Hz) through a compact, handheld form factor with microcontroller-based circuitry and 0–40 mA output current. Designed for bedside use, home visits, field applications and as a secondary portable unit alongside mains-powered stimulators in the clinic.

Portable Stimulation, Core Therapeutic Modes
DIGISTIM® EMS+T delivers IG, Faradic, Surge Faradic and TENS in a battery/mains dual-power pocket unit — the only HMS muscle stimulator that operates fully independent of mains electricity.
4 Stimulation Modes in a Pocket Unit
Covers Interrupted Galvanic (IG ON time 30–150 mSec, OFF time 1 sec fixed), Faradic (50 Hz / 0.7 mSec), Surge Faradic (1–6 sec surge duration) and TENS (2–125 Hz). The IG range is focused on the therapeutic band (30–150 mSec) rather than the full diagnostic range, making this a treatment-oriented portable unit rather than a diagnostic tool.
Battery & Mains Dual Power
Runs on a standard 9V battery for fully portable, mains-free operation — or on a 9V mains adaptor when clinic power is available. This dual-power design is unique in the HMS muscle stimulator range, making DIGISTIM® EMS+T the only option for treatment scenarios where mains electricity is unavailable, unreliable or impractical.
0–40 mA Output Current
Delivers up to 40 mA output current across all stimulation modes — matching the output range of the larger mains-only INDOSTIM units. This ensures the pocket form factor does not compromise stimulation intensity for therapeutic IG, Faradic, Surge Faradic and TENS applications.
TENS Mode — 2–125 Hz
Includes TENS output at frequencies from 2 to 125 Hz, adding electrical nerve stimulation capability alongside the muscle stimulation modes. This makes DIGISTIM® EMS+T a multi-purpose portable unit that covers both muscle stimulation and TENS without needing a separate device.
Microcontroller-Based Circuitry
Microcontroller-based design manages all output parameters, mode switching and safety functions within the compact form factor. Despite the pocket size, the microcontroller ensures accurate, repeatable output across all four stimulation modes whether operating on battery or mains power.
Pocket-Sized & Handy Design
The most compact muscle stimulator in the HMS product range — designed as a handheld, pocket-sized unit that is easy to carry in a treatment bag, coat pocket or equipment case. Suitable for home visits, bedside treatment in hospital wards, sports field coverage and as a backup portable unit in the clinic. Also designed for veterinary care applications. Manufactured by HMS Medical Systems.
