KNEEFLEX
KNEEFLEX® is an anatomical-design continuous passive motion (CPM) machine for knee and hip rehabilitation with remote-controlled operation, 10-step variable speed (50–110 cycles/minute), treatment duration up to 24 hours with real-time clock, force reversal (10–30 kg in 10 steps) and daily progressive angle increase (2°, 3° or 5° per day). With a range of motion from -10° extension to 120° flexion in 1° increments, 10-patient progressive memory, patient-controlled comfort zone return key and universal left/right design, it is the full-featured CPM in the HMS range — designed for extended post-operative rehabilitation sessions up to 24 hours.

KNEEFLEX® provides the most comprehensive CPM control in the HMS range — remote operation, 10-step speed, 24-hour treatment, force reversal, patient comfort zone control and daily progressive angle — with the same 1° accuracy and noiseless drive as the KNEEFLEX® Es.
10-Step Variable Speed — 50 to 110 Cycles/Minute
Speed is adjustable across 10 steps from 50 to 110 cycles per minute, providing finer motion speed graduation than the KNEEFLEX® Es’s three fixed speed settings. This 10-step range allows clinicians to precisely match CPM speed to patient tolerance at each stage of recovery, from very slow early post-operative motion to faster rehabilitation-phase cycling.
24-Hour Treatment with Real-Time Clock
Treatment duration extends from 5 minutes to 24 hours — eight times longer than the KNEEFLEX® Es’s 3-hour maximum. A real-time clock in 24-hour format tracks treatment scheduling. This extended runtime supports overnight and multi-hour CPM protocols commonly prescribed in early post-operative knee rehabilitation programmes.
Force Reversal — 10–30 kg in 10 Steps
Force reversal automatically changes the direction of motion when the resistance against the carriage exceeds the set force threshold. Adjustable from 10 to 30 kg in 10 steps, this safety feature protects the joint from excessive force if the patient involuntarily resists motion due to muscle spasm or guarding during CPM sessions.
Remote-Controlled Operation with Comfort Zone
All CPM parameters are controlled via a remote handset — allowing bedside adjustment of ROM, speed, pause, treatment time and progressive settings without accessing the base unit. A patient-operated return key lets the patient set their own comfort zone boundary, giving them direct input into the maximum flexion angle during self-managed CPM sessions.
Daily Progressive Angle — 2°, 3° or 5° Per Day
Progressive angle automatically increases the programmed flexion angle by 2°, 3° or 5° over the total treatment time per day. Up to 10 progressive memory slots store individual patient settings for quick recall. This daily progression system suits multi-day inpatient CPM protocols where ROM is incrementally advanced each treatment day.
