KNEEFLEX® Es is an anatomical-design continuous passive motion (CPM) machine for knee and hip rehabilitation. With a range of motion from -10° extension to 120° flexion in 1° increments, three speed settings (low/medium/high), automatic progressive angle increase (0°–20° over the set treatment time), adjustable extension and flexion pauses (1–99 seconds), universal left/right design and easy adult-to-pediatric conversion without adapter pieces, it supports patients up to 160 kg. A contactless magnetic sensor provides 1° accuracy, while the maintenance-free stainless steel ball screw and sturdy DC motor deliver noiseless, smooth operation at 14.75 kg.

KNEEFLEX® Es provides anatomical CPM for knee and hip with 1° accuracy, 3-speed control, automatic progressive angle, adjustable pauses and noiseless operation — supporting patients up to 160 kg with universal left/right and adult/pediatric conversion.
-10° Extension to 120° Flexion — 1° Accuracy
Range of motion spans -10° extension (hyperextension) to 120° flexion, adjustable in 1° increments. A contactless magnetic sensor provides angle detection at 1° accuracy, ensuring the set ROM limits are maintained precisely throughout each treatment cycle. Adjustable pauses at both extension and flexion endpoints (1–99 seconds each) allow dwell time at end-range positions.
3-Speed Settings — Low, Medium, High
Three motion speed options: Low (80 seconds per 100° of travel), Medium (60 seconds per 100°) and High (35 seconds per 100°). Speed selection allows clinicians to start at slower motion for early post-operative sessions and progress to faster speeds as patient tolerance improves.
Progressive Angle — 0° to 20° Auto Increase
The progressive angle feature automatically increases the programmed flexion angle by 0° to 20° over the total set treatment time (5 minutes to 3 hours). This eliminates the need for manual ROM adjustments during sessions, gradually progressing the range of motion without clinical staff intervention.
Universal Left/Right & Adult-to-Pediatric Conversion
A single unit operates on both left and right legs without reconfiguration. Conversion from adult to pediatric sizing requires no adapter pieces — the calf section adjusts from 40–62 cm and the thigh section from 28–46 cm. This universal design reduces the number of CPM units a facility needs to stock.
Noiseless Operation & Maintenance-Free Drive
A sturdy DC motor drives the carriage through a maintenance-free stainless steel plated ball screw, delivering totally noiseless, smooth operation. The ultra-wide carriage (28 cm / 11” from centre) provides stable limb support. Suitable for bedside use in hospital wards where noise levels must be minimised.

At 14.75 kg and 90 × 29.5 × 25 cm, KNEEFLEX® Es is lightweight for transport between rooms while supporting patients up to 160 kg. Base unit operation with 10-patient progressive memory via handset.
