INDOTRAC D
INDOTRAC® D is a solid-state electronic traction machine with static and intermittent modes for cervical and lumbar (pelvic) traction. With traction force from 3 to 60 kg (1 kg steps, expandable to 120 kg with doubler), 2-speed selection (1 kg/sec and 3 kg/sec), user-defined hold, rest and treatment time, LCD display of all parameters including real-time actual force, patient safety switch and a moulded aluminium gearbox with metal gears, it provides reliable daily traction capability at 9 kg. Designed for clinics that need a straightforward, durable electronic traction unit without progressive stepping or multi-mode complexity.

Core Traction with Durable Gearbox Construction
INDOTRAC® D provides static and intermittent cervical/lumbar traction with 3–60 kg force, aluminium gearbox, real-time force display and patient safety switch — the most durable, straightforward traction unit in the HMS range at 9 kg.
3–60 kg Force — Expandable to 120 kg with Doubler
Traction force adjustable from 3 to 60 kg in 1 kg steps. An optional doubler expands the force range to 120 kg for heavier lumbar traction applications. Base force adjustable from 0 to 55 kg. Supports both cervical and lumbar (pelvic) traction with separate tension controls for each mode.
Static & Intermittent Traction Modes
Two traction modes: static (continuous) and intermittent (cyclic hold/rest). Hold time adjustable from 10 to 80 seconds in 5-second steps. Rest time from 1 to 20 seconds in 1-second steps. Treatment timer from 0 to 99 minutes. This focused two-mode design covers essential traction patterns without the multi-mode complexity of the DIGITRAC® models.
2-Speed Selection
Two traction speed settings — Speed 1 (1 kg/sec) for gradual force application and Speed 2 (3 kg/sec) for faster loading. Two-speed selection keeps operation simple while providing options for different patient tolerance levels and traction approaches.
Real-Time Actual Force Display
The 16 × 2 LCD display shows all set parameters and displays the actual applied traction force in real time during treatment. Real-time force feedback lets clinicians verify that the set force is being delivered accurately throughout the session.
Patient Safety Switch
A dedicated patient safety switch allows the patient to release traction force immediately if discomfort or an emergency occurs during treatment. This direct patient-controlled safety feature supplements the clinician’s monitoring.
9 kg with Aluminium Gearbox & Metal Gears
Moulded aluminium gearbox with metal gears provides long equipment life under constant daily use. Silent, smooth heavy-duty DC motor. Unit weighs 9 kg at 27.5 × 30 × 27.5 cm. Power consumption: 20 watts max. Universal mains (100–240V, 50/60 Hz). IEC 60601-1 (Class 1, Type B). Manufactured by HMS Medical Systems.
