INDOTHERM 500W
INDOTHERM® 500W is a heavy-duty continuous shortwave diathermy machine operating at 27.12 MHz with 500W output power. Mounted on castors with plastic moulded multi-position arm sets, disc and pad electrode sets, a 99-minute digital timer with automatic cut-off and acoustic signal, it is designed for hospitals and larger clinics that need a dedicated continuous-mode shortwave diathermy unit. At 38 kg in a floor-standing configuration, it matches the P500W’s physical build but operates in continuous mode only.

Continuous Shortwave Diathermy Performance
INDOTHERM® 500W provides dedicated continuous shortwave diathermy at 27.12 MHz / 500W with the same heavy-duty platform, multi-position arms and electrode sets as the P500W — without pulsed mode.
Continuous-Only 500W Output at 27.12 MHz
Operates in continuous output mode only at the standard 27.12 MHz shortwave frequency with 500W output power. For clinics that exclusively use continuous shortwave diathermy, this dedicated continuous unit provides reliable high-power output without the pulsed mode circuitry and controls of the P500W.
Multi-Position Arm Set
Plastic moulded multi-position arm set positions disc and pad electrodes around the treatment area without requiring the patient to move. Articulated arms lock in position for stable electrode placement. Same arm system as the INDOTHERM® P500W.
Disc & Pad Electrode Sets Included
Ships with both disc electrode set (1 set) and pad electrode set (1 set). Disc electrodes are used for capacitive field application; pad electrodes for direct-contact treatment. Both electrode types mount on the multi-position arm system.
99-Minute Digital Timer with Auto Cut-Off
Digital timer adjustable from 0 to 99 minutes with automatic output cut-off and acoustic buzzer signal at the end of the set treatment time. LED display shows timer countdown. Prevents over-treatment during unattended sessions.
LED Display
LED display shows output status and timer information. The continuous-only operation simplifies the control interface — no pulse frequency, pulse width or mode selection controls are needed, keeping the front panel focused on power level and treatment time.
38 kg Floor-Standing with Castors
Heavy-duty floor-standing unit at 38 kg and 35 × 48 × 75 cm, mounted on castors for mobility. Mains: 220V / 50 Hz. Also designed for veterinary care. Manufactured by HMS Medical Systems.
