SONOMED® 9S is a comprehensive combination therapy machine designed for physiotherapy clinics, hospitals and professional treatment settings. It combines dual-frequency ultrasound with a wide range of electrotherapy modalities, giving physiotherapists multiple treatment options within one system. SONOMED® 9S brings ultrasound and multiple electrotherapy options together with flexible treatment control, extensive pre-set programs and multi-patient capability for comprehensive physiotherapy practice.
Wide Range of Treatment Options
SONOMED® 9S combines dual-frequency ultrasound with a broad selection of electrotherapy modalities, including IFT, Russian Current, TENS, Muscle Stimulation, Faradic, Surge Faradic, Diadynamic Currents, VMS, HV Pulse, Ultra Reiz, Micro Current and Iontophoresis. This gives physiotherapists access to different treatment approaches from a single system.
Four Independent Electrotherapy Channels
Four independent channels allow electrotherapy treatment to be managed across different areas with individual intensity control. This provides greater flexibility when treating multiple areas or patients during the same session.
Extensive Pre-Set Treatment Programs
The machine includes 132 condition-wise pre-set protocols to make treatment selection quicker and more convenient. User memory also allows customised settings and patient names to be saved for easy access during subsequent sessions.
Three-Patient Treatment Capability
SONOMED® 9S can support treatment for up to three patients simultaneously, depending on the selected treatment configuration. This makes efficient use of the machine possible in busy physiotherapy clinics where several treatment sessions may need to be managed at the same time.
Large Colour Touchscreen Control
The 7-inch colour touchscreen provides a clear interface for selecting treatment modes, programs and parameters. It gives physiotherapists convenient access to the machine’s different therapy options while keeping important treatment information easy to view.
Flexible Dual-Frequency Ultrasound
The ultrasound section provides both 1 MHz and 3 MHz frequencies, giving physiotherapists flexibility when treating different areas. A contact sensor helps monitor transducer contact during treatment, while multiple pulse settings provide additional control over ultrasound application.
